How to Achieve Inner Peace

I'm passing this on because it worked for me as my New Year's resolution.

A doctor on TV said that, in order to have inner peace in our lives, we
should always finish things that we start.
Since we all could use more calm in our hectic retired lives, I looked
around my house to find things I'd started and hadn't finished.
I finished a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Pinot, a bodle of Baileys, a
butle of wum, tha mainder of Valiuminun scriptins, an a box a choclutz.
Yu has no idr how fablus I feel rite now.

Sned this t all ur frenz who need inner piss. An telum u luvum.

On the Road Again

Left our tropical paradise Thursday morning and headed for the dry centre ( central Qld anyway) it's amazing to see the landscape change as you go along.  Even different to last time the same route was travelled.
The weather is glorious - not too hot.
Hughenden last night, Barcaldine  tonight.
Have seen the remnants of lots of bush fires along the way.
The grey nomads are on the move again, (like us) but we are going the wrong way as usual, while they head north to the tropics, we are going south to the cool!

Healthy Choices

Inner Peace: This is so true

If you can start the day without caffeine,

If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,

If you can resist complaining and
boring people with your troubles,

If you can eat the same food every
day and be grateful for it,

If you can understand when your loved
ones are too busy to give you any time,

If you can take criticism and
blame without resentment,
If you can conquer tension without medical help,

If you can relax without alcohol,

If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,

Then You Are Probably
The Family Dog!

And you thought I was going to get all spiritual...
